Our assignment was to do several drawings to practice our shading. All assignments were from the Design Drawing book by Francis D.K Ching. The ones below were the first, it was to use shading to transform a circle, triangle, and polygon into a sphere, cone, and cube. Above Left: We were to then repeat the exercise using a fine-tipped pen. Above Right: We were to copy this picture out of the book and create shadows with a pen and pencil.
