This japanese Bamboo art piece can be seen at TAI Gallery in Santa Fe. It's creatively woven from Madake, a tupe of bamboo and rattan. It's from Syoryu Honda. I really like the curves and openess of this piece. I think it is so strong in the bamboo material and wouldn't be as strong if made from any other material.

Bamboo art
