These light fixtures are very unique. The one on the left is by Massimo losa Ghini. It's called the "Gaia" light fixture. he created it through the idea that color and transparency are in balance with one another. The design is really strong because it allows the light to flow all the way through and it's not confined to one spot. The lamp on the right is the "Mariposa" designed by Marco Piva. He used transparent and colored glass. They are gathered around the body of the lamp to disperse light. I think this design is also really interesting. It looks like a bunch of butterflies almost.
